Kartka na Chrzest/ Card for christening

Last Saturday I had in my family christening. Because age of the boy was higher than few months I did as a gift this card. It is truth that because of job I did it in last moment, but I think that for ab. 2h for concept and work, it looks nice.
Most of my work took a cover. First I choose image from many of one piece of scrapbooking paper. Than I put it on white paper (120g) and with my pencil drew lines. Everything cut. Than with blue ink I stressed corners and edges. Than I made a hole and tied a bow from last, small piece of blue ribbon (don't throw away such pieces because you never know when you need them;).

 I cut also ab. 15 cm of a cotton lace ribbon and coloured it with this same blue ink which I used for image. Later I embossed with silver powder all edges.

Than from pearl grean paper I cut 3 twigs and I made 3 blue flowers (if you are interested how to do it - write :) I cut also shape with Marianne Design - Marrakesh die cuts on the right side of my card. Under it I glued pearl vellum, between frames of my Marrakesh shape I stuck my twigs and flowers.

 Back of my card is from this same page of embossed white paper and glued as a second layer.

Inside I wanted something what pass to small boy, so I decided to use grean car and...

... on the right side is embossed, self-made corner also stressed with blue ink. It is some kind of pocket in which I could hide a gift ;)

In the end I wrote inside wishes and on a small tag (this white one) I wrote name and the date of christening.

Actually in the end I close this card and added last blue pearls.

Tym razem wykonałam kartkę w bardzo stonowanych kolorach (ale nie nudną;), rozmiar 18 cm * 18 cm.

Najpierw stworzyłam tło. Na białym papierze kilka razy nastemplowałam kilkakrotnie tekst (stempel akrylowy), a potem w różnych miejscach zabarwiłam trzema kolorami tuszu (Distress: old paper, antique linen i brąz).  

Później wycięłam owal z wykrojników Creative Expressions i embossig. Jak widzicie użyłam dwóch kolorów pudrów: srebrny i złoty. Ważne jest, aby szybko kłaść następne warstwy pudru. Po środku, na drugim, małym owalu, nastemplowałam ptaszki, a potem posypałam przezroczystym pudrem, żeby nadać trochę więcej połysku :)

This time I made card in a very subdued colours (but not boring), size: 18 cm * 18 cm.

First I created background. On a white paper I stamp several times text (acrilic stamp) and than I put in different places of this piece of paper three inks colours  (Distress: old paper, antique linen and brown).  

Later I cut oval shape from Creative Expressions die and than I made embossing. As you can see here I used two colours of powder: silver and gold. Important is to put really quick next layer of embossing powder. In the middle, of smaller oval, I stamped birds, after it I used some clear embossing powder to make it more shiny :)

Potem wycięłam dwa prostokąty w różnych rozmiarach. Większy ma dodatkowo nałożony brokatowy tiul, który pokolorowałam tymi samymi tuszami. Mniejszy pokolorowałam w podobny sposób, jak pierwsza część mojej pracy ale nie użyłam żadnego słowa. Ostatnią częścią projektu jest wąski pasek, który wycięłam z papieru do Scrapbookingu.
Lubię świecące rzeczy  (jak większość naszej żeńskiej populacji ;P )
Mam nadzieję, że jest to widoczne na zdjęciach.

Than I cut two rectangle in other sizes. Bigger one has additionally brocate tulle which I coloured with this same inks. Smaller is coloured like first part of my card but I didn't put any word. And last part of this project was thin stripe which I cut from Scrapbboking paper.
I like shiny things (like most of our female population ;P ) and I hope you can see it from my pictures.

Najpierw pomysłem było stworzenie obrazka na ścianę ale później zdecydowałam, żeby lepiej zrobić kartkę, więc wycięłam długi prostokąt z czarnego papieru Canson formatu A3, zagięłam po środku. Wewnątrz jest miejsce na życzenia lub gratulacje, które można napisać na kwadracie białego papieru.

First idea was to make wall picture but later I decaded to make card so I cut long rectangle from black A3 Canson paper, folded in the middle. Inside is place for wishes or congratulations on white square white piece of paper.

Na ostatnim zdjęciu, jak widzicie (mam nadzieję), brzegi podkreślone są tuszem w kolorze antique linen ink.

In the last picture you can see (I hope) that the edges are also stressed with the antique linen ink.

I oczywiście zrobiłam kolczyki z koralików  Fire Polish 3mm i Toho 11 zmrożona biel w kształcie kuli.

And of course I made earrings from 3mm Fire Polish and Toho 11 frosted white in a ball shape.
